Eternal Progression • A Fuller Life for Everyone • Live and Help Live
“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” — John 10:10
🌍 Interfaith Prayer for Peace
A Fuller Life for Everyone
Sacred Mystery, known by many names and encountered beyond every name,
Today we pray for more than the absence of war.
We pray for the presence of life.
We join our hearts with Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Pagans, Baháʼís, followers of Indigenous traditions, humanists, seekers, doubters, agnostics, atheists, and all who labor for the flourishing of life.
May peace mean that children can sleep without fear.
May peace mean that families have food.
May peace mean that people have homes.
May peace mean that refugees find safety.
May peace mean that people can practice their religion—or no religion—without persecution.
May peace mean that human beings are not rejected because of race, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability, poverty, or difference.
May peace mean that disagreements do not require enemies.
May peace mean that justice reaches people forgotten by systems of power.
May peace mean that Earth herself can breathe.
Where wars continue, protect civilians and strengthen those working through diplomacy, humanitarian service, reconciliation, and nonviolent peacemaking.
Where hatred has become ordinary, make compassion disruptive.
Where fear teaches people to build walls around their hearts, create unexpected friendships.
Where religious traditions have wounded one another, help us tell the truth about our histories while creating different futures.
Where injustice continues, give us courage to resist without becoming what we oppose.
Remind us that peace is not merely something governments negotiate.
Peace is something neighbors practice.
It happens whenever somebody chooses:
conversation instead of contempt,
curiosity instead of assumption,
sharing instead of hoarding,
solidarity instead of indifference,
and love instead of dehumanization.
May our prayers become choices.
May our choices become habits.
May our habits become communities.
May our communities become signs that another world is possible.
Peace within us.
Peace between us.
Justice among us.
Healing around us.
A fuller life for everyone.
Amen. So may it be. Salaam. Shalom. Blessed be.
Peace to all beings.
🌿 Daily Kilubansa Healing Ritual
The Healing Light
Place a bowl of clean water before you.
Beside it, place a leaf, familiar herb, flower, seed, or stone.
If it is safe and comfortable, place a candle or electric candle nearby.
Let the water represent healing.
Let the natural object represent the living Earth.
Let the light represent hope.
Take three slow breaths.
With the first breath say:
I receive this breath.
With the second:
I receive this moment.
With the third:
I remain open to healing.
Invocation
Sacred Source of Healing,
Kilubansa, healing presence,
meet us wherever we are today.
Some of us arrive strong.
Some arrive tired.
Some arrive hopeful.
Some arrive frightened.
Some carry pain that others can see.
Others carry burdens hidden from everyone around them.
May nobody be required to pretend.
Let this become a space where we can simply arrive as we are.
Bless bodies needing care.
Bless minds needing gentleness.
Bless hearts carrying grief.
Bless people adjusting to changes they did not choose.
Bless those waiting for answers.
Bless those beginning treatment.
Bless those living with conditions that may not disappear.
Bless those discovering new ways to live meaningful lives.
Bless caregivers whose presence becomes part of another person’s healing.
Bless physicians, nurses, therapists, counselors, healers, chaplains, families, friends, neighbors, and communities.
May healing never be reduced to cure alone.
Where cure is possible, may good care support it.
Where cure is uncertain or impossible, may there still be comfort, dignity, adaptation, companionship, meaning, laughter, creativity, love, and hope.
Healing Action
Touch the water.
Say:
May healing flow where healing is needed.
Touch your forehead.
May my thoughts receive gentleness.
Touch your heart.
May my emotions be welcomed without judgment.
Touch your hands.
May I receive the help I need and offer the help I can.
Look toward the light.
Say:
A small light is still light.
Pause.
You do not need to manufacture optimism.
Simply notice the flame or imagine a gentle light before you.
Ask:
What would make life a little fuller today?
Perhaps rest.
Perhaps companionship.
Perhaps nourishing food.
Perhaps medication or treatment.
Perhaps laughter.
Perhaps creativity.
Perhaps going outside.
Perhaps asking for assistance.
Perhaps helping someone else.
Perhaps doing absolutely nothing for a while.
Choose one small thing.
Closing
Say:
Healing may be dramatic.
Healing may be quiet.
Healing may mean recovery.
Healing may mean adaptation.
Healing may mean discovering life within changed circumstances.
I welcome every form of healing that protects dignity and helps life flourish.
I will live and help live.
So may it be.
This contemplative spiritual practice complements rather than replaces appropriate professional healthcare.

What Does a Fuller Life Mean?
Jesus said:
“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
That verse has sometimes been kidnapped by prosperity preaching and made to sound like Jesus was advertising a divine rewards program.
Follow God and receive more stuff.
Francis would have found that interpretation rather awkward.
He deliberately possessed less.
Clare fought fiercely for the privilege of living without accumulating property.
Yet both believed they had discovered a richer life.
That gives us an important distinction:
A fuller life is not necessarily a life with more possessions.
It is a life with more life.
More meaningful relationships.
More dignity.
More participation.
More curiosity.
More compassion.
More creativity.
More opportunities to learn.
More connection with creation.
More room for questions.
More laughter.
More community.
More freedom from unnecessary domination.
And enough material security for people to live with dignity.
Franciscan simplicity should never become romanticizing poverty.
Involuntary poverty harms people.
Hunger is not spiritually superior to having food.
Homelessness is not sacred simplicity.
Lacking healthcare is not detachment from possessions.
Franciscan simplicity asks those who have enough:
How much is enough?
And then asks:
How can what we possess serve life rather than control it?
Our goal of A Fuller Life for Everyone therefore carries consequences.
Everyone means everyone.
Not merely Christians.
Not merely people who agree with us.
Not merely people society considers productive.
Not merely people who fit comfortably within our institutions.
A fuller life belongs to children and elders.
Disabled people and able-bodied people.
Rich and poor.
Believers and unbelievers.
People of every race, culture, gender, and sexuality.
Human beings—and ultimately the wider community of life with whom we share this Earth.
That is why our Franciscan Clarean spirituality cannot remain merely personal.
Compassion becomes social.
Love becomes political in the broadest sense because love asks how communities organize life together.
Justice asks whether everyone has room at the table.
Francis kissed the leper.
Clare created community.
Jesus ate with outsiders.
They kept moving toward people whom respectable society preferred not to see.
Our objective is Eternal Progression.
Our goal is A Fuller Life for Everyone.
Our slogan is Live and Help Live.
Those three ideas belong together.
Keep growing.
Help life flourish.
And make the circle wider.
Live simply.
Love boldly.
Share generously.
Question courageously.
Make room at the table.
✨ Order of ChristoCorrellians Ritual
The Ritual of Abundant Life
Place a candle or electric candle at the center of your sacred space.
Beside it, place a bowl of water and something representing the living Earth—a plant, flower, leaf, seed, stone, or soil.
Take three slow breaths.
Say:
Sacred Mystery,
God and Goddess,
Christ and Holy Wisdom,
Divine Feminine and Sacred Spirit,
awaken me to the abundance already woven through life.
East — Air
Face or visualize the East.
Say:
Sacred Air, breath of life, enter freely.
Open my mind to possibilities I have not yet imagined.
South — Fire
Turn toward the South.
Say:
Sacred Fire, flame of transformation, awaken courage within me.
Help me use my life in ways that help other lives flourish.
West — Water
Turn toward the West.
Touch the water.
Say:
Sacred Water, source of life, teach me generosity.
What is received may also be shared.
North — Earth
Turn toward the North.
Touch the natural object.
Say:
Sacred Earth, living community, remind me that abundance is not endless consumption.
True abundance sustains the whole web of life.
Return to the Center
Look toward the candle.
Say:
Christ, teacher of abundant life, free me from confusing possessions with fullness.
Touch the Earth.
Divine Mother, teach me the abundance of seasons, ecosystems, relationships, birth, rest, transformation, and renewal.
Touch the water.
Holy Spirit, flow through everything within me that has become closed or fearful.
Place both hands over your heart.
Say:
God and Goddess, Sacred Mystery, help me recognize what makes life truly rich.
Pause.
Imagine a table.
Around it are people from many cultures, religions, identities, abilities, and ways of life.
There is room for you.
There is room for them.
There is still another chair.
Say:
The sacred table keeps getting larger.
Now pray:
May Christianity teach me the radical hospitality of Jesus.
May Correllian and Pagan wisdom deepen my reverence for Earth and the sacred cycles of life.
May other spiritual traditions enlarge my understanding of wisdom.
May science deepen my wonder for the living universe.
May human experience keep my spirituality grounded in compassion.
May I never mistake accumulation for abundance.
May I never mistake domination for strength.
May I never mistake certainty for wisdom.
May what I receive help life flourish beyond myself.
Raise your hands slightly.
Air gives breath.
Fire gives warmth.
Water gives life.
Earth gives nourishment.
Christ invites us to the table.
Spirit moves among us.
Sacred Mystery exceeds every boundary.
There is enough sacredness to go around.
There is room at the table.
May every being have a fuller life.
I will live and help live.
Amen and blessed be.
🌱 The Urban Pilgrim’s Practice
Add One Little Bit of Life
Today, ask yourself:
What would make someone’s life just a little fuller?
Not perfect.
Not dramatically transformed.
Just fuller.
Maybe send an encouraging message.
Share a meal.
Make somebody laugh.
Water a plant.
Feed an animal.
Listen without trying to fix.
Help someone complete a difficult task.
Share something you no longer need.
Tell somebody they matter.
Learn something simply because you’re curious.
Create something useless and beautiful.
Or allow yourself to receive one of those gifts from somebody else.
A fuller life is built from millions of ordinary moments.
Add one today.
📖 Pilgrim’s Blessing
May the Sacred Mystery lead you toward fullness rather than accumulation.
May Christ invite you again to the table where outsiders become neighbors.
May the Divine Feminine remind you that life flourishes through relationship.
May the Spirit awaken curiosity within you.
May Brother Sun remind you that light is meant to be shared.
May Sister Water teach you that abundance flows rather than hoards.
May Brother Wind carry new possibilities toward you.
May Mother Earth teach you that flourishing requires both receiving and giving.
May you have enough.
May you know when enough is enough.
May you help create communities where others have enough too.
May your life become wider through compassion.
May your spirituality become deeper through questions.
May your community become richer through difference.
And may your presence help someone else’s life become a little fuller today.
Eternal Progression.
A Fuller Life for Everyone.
Live and Help Live.
Remember:
We Are One.
Make room.
Share life.
Keep becoming.
And tomorrow—
We Walk Again.
Amen. So may it be.
