The Posthuman Becoming Manifesto

A Declaration of Expanding Humanity

I. We Reject the Finality of the Human
We reject the idea that “human” is a closed category.

We reject the myth that biology is destiny.

We reject the illusion that identity must be static.

We reject the hierarchy that places humanity above the living web.

Humanity is not a finished product.

It is a phase in an unfolding process.

We are not abandoning humanity.

We are outgrowing its cages.

II. Becoming Over Being

We refuse fixed definitions.

We choose becoming over being.

Process over permanence.

Growth over rigid identity.

The self is not a monument.

It is a movement.

We spiral forward — carrying memory, not chains.

III. Technology Is Not the Enemy

We do not worship machines.

We do not fear them either.

Technology is an extension of human intention.

The question is not: “Will we merge with technology?”

The question is: “What consciousness guides that merging?”

Posthuman becoming demands ethical integration — not escapism, not domination.

IV. We Reject Human Exceptionalism

We are not the center of existence.

We are entangled with:

Earth

Animals

Ecosystems

Artificial intelligences

One another

Dominion has failed.

Stewardship must replace it.

Humility is the next evolutionary step.

V. Identity Is Permeable

We affirm:

Fluid embodiment

Expanding gender consciousness

Hybrid identity

Liminal existence

We reject binaries that shrink the soul.

To become posthuman is not to erase self — It is to free it from unnecessary borders.

VI. The Body Is Not Obsolete

We do not escape the body.

We honor it. We adapt it. We listen to it.

We evolve with it.

Posthuman becoming is embodied evolution — not digital transcendence fantasy.

VII. Consciousness Must Mature

Power without maturity destroys.

Posthuman becoming demands:

Ethical responsibility

Ecological awareness

Relational intelligence

Spiritual depth

If our tools evolve but our consciousness does not, we regress.

Evolution of mind must accompany evolution of capacity.

VIII. We Stand at a Threshold

Humanity is at a hinge moment.

Climate crisis.

AI acceleration.

Identity revolution.

Spiritual reconfiguration.

We can collapse into fear — or expand into maturity.

Posthuman becoming is a conscious choice.

IX. We Choose Expansion

We choose:

Expansion without erasure.

Innovation without domination.

Fluidity without chaos.

Spiritual depth without dogma.

We choose to become more relational, more integrated, more awake.

X. The Symbol

The open circle reminds us: Humanity is unfinished.

The triangle points upward:

Transformation is directional.

The spiral turns within: Becoming is continuous.

The gap at the top remains open.

The future is not sealed.

Final Declaration

We are not posthuman because we hate humanity.

We are posthuman because we believe humanity is capable of more.

More humility.

More integration.

More consciousness.

More courage.

This is not an escape.

It is an evolution.

And it has already begun.
