Walking with Christ. Honoring Creation. Building Peace Across All Faiths.
“The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” — James 3:18
🌍 Interfaith Prayer for Peace
May We Become What We Pray For
Holy One, Sacred Mystery known by many names and encountered along many paths,
We gather our hopes for a world weary of violence, hatred, fear, and division.
Bless our Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Pagan, Indigenous, Sikh, Baháʼí, and other spiritual neighbors. Bless those who claim no religious tradition yet devote themselves to compassion and the common good.
Where communities are divided, raise up bridge-builders.
Where violence has become ordinary, awaken the courage to choose another way.
Where people are hungry, move us to share.
Where people are rejected, teach us to welcome.
Where creation is wounded, make us faithful caretakers of Earth.
Give wisdom to leaders, courage to peacemakers, protection to civilians caught in conflict, comfort to those who mourn, and hope to those who have almost forgotten what hope feels like.
And when we pray for peace, remind us that we cannot leave all the work to heaven.
Make us peaceful.
Make us compassionate.
Make us courageous enough to love across the boundaries humanity has created.
May peace begin within our hearts, take flesh in our actions, and spread through our communities until every person can live with dignity.
Amen.
So may it be.
Peace to all beings.
🌿 Daily Kilubansa Healing Ritual
Theme: Returning to the Waters
Place a small bowl or cup of clean water before you. If you wish, place a leaf or familiar herb beside it as a symbol of Earth’s gifts.
The ritual is spiritual and contemplative and is not a substitute for medical care.
Rest your hands comfortably and take three gentle breaths.
Whisper:
“I release what burdens me.
I receive what nourishes me.
I return to the flow of life.”
Invocation
Sacred Source of Healing,
Bless this water as a sign of renewal.
As rain nourishes the soil and streams refresh the land, may healing flow into the places within us that are tired, frightened, grieving, or wounded.
Kilubansa, healing presence, walk beside all who seek wholeness.
May the wisdom of plants remind us to grow.
May the strength of stones remind us to endure.
May the movement of water remind us that change is possible.
May the breath within us remind us that this moment is sacred.
Healing Meditation
Touch the water gently with your fingertips.
Imagine the burdens you have carried becoming lighter.
You do not have to solve everything today.
Ask instead:
“What is one healing thing I can do in this moment?”
Perhaps the answer is rest.
Perhaps it is asking for help.
Perhaps it is forgiving yourself.
Perhaps it is simply drinking some water and beginning again.
Sit quietly for a few moments.
Closing
Touch your heart and say:
I welcome healing without demanding perfection.
I honor the wisdom of my body and spirit.
I receive the gifts of creation with gratitude.
I will carry healing into my community.
So may it be.
✝️ Order of Franciscan Clareans Reflection
Repair the World in Front of You
Francis of Assisi heard the call to rebuild God’s house. At first, he took the command literally and began repairing a ruined chapel.
Eventually, his understanding grew.
The deeper rebuilding involved people.
The church needed rebuilding.
Communities needed rebuilding.
Relationships between rich and poor needed rebuilding.
Humanity’s relationship with creation needed rebuilding.
That Franciscan challenge remains.
We can become so overwhelmed by everything wrong with the world that we convince ourselves our small actions cannot matter.
Clare offers another way.
Begin where you are.
Feed someone.
Listen to someone.
Protect someone who is being pushed aside.
Care for an animal.
Plant something.
Forgive when reconciliation is possible.
Challenge injustice without surrendering your humanity to hatred.
You do not need to repair the entire world today.
Repair the little corner of the world entrusted to you.
Enough people doing that can become a revolution of compassion.
Live simply.
Love boldly.
Serve joyfully.
Resist cruelty.
Repair the world.
✨ Order of ChristoCorrellians Ritual
The Sacred Meeting of Earth and Heaven
Place a candle before you, or use an electric candle if that is safer.
Beside it, place something representing Earth—a stone, leaf, flower, or small bowl of soil.
Stand or sit comfortably.
Feel the Earth supporting you.
Imagine roots extending beneath you into the sacred ground.
Then imagine gentle light descending from above and surrounding you.
Say:
Sacred Mystery,
God and Goddess,
Christ who reveals Divine Love,
Holy Spirit, Divine Feminine and Breath of Life,
Sacred Presence within creation,
be known among us.
Light the candle if appropriate.
Contemplate its flame.
Say:
Christ, kindle compassion within me.
Touch the symbol of Earth.
Say:
Sacred Mother, teach me to honor the living world.
Place your hand over your heart.
Say:
Holy Spirit, breathe wisdom through me.
Imagine the light above and the strength of Earth below meeting within your heart.
Let them become one radiant flame.
Pray:
May I recognize the sacred wherever it appears.
May Christianity teach me radical love.
May Pagan wisdom teach me reverence for Earth.
May neither become a weapon against another.
May wisdom from both lead me toward compassion, justice, healing, and peace.
Remain quietly before the candle.
Then say:
Earth beneath me.
Spirit within me.
Christ beside me.
Sacred Mystery surrounding me.
I walk between heaven and Earth as a servant of love.
Amen and blessed be.
🌱 The Urban Pilgrim’s Practice
Repair One Thing
Today’s pilgrimage does not require traveling anywhere.
Find one small thing within your reach that needs care.
Mend something broken.
Pick up litter.
Call someone lonely.
Refill a bird’s water dish.
Encourage someone.
Donate something useful.
Apologize.
Water a struggling plant.
Do one thing that leaves your little corner of creation kinder than you found it.
That is pilgrimage too.
📖 Pilgrim’s Blessing
May the Holy One bless your feet for the road ahead.
May Christ give you courage to cross boundaries created by fear.
May the Divine Feminine teach you tenderness.
May the Spirit breathe through you when your own strength feels small.
May Brother Sun warm you, Sister Water refresh you, Mother Earth sustain you, and every creature remind you that you belong to a vast community of life.
Go into the world gently.
Become the peace you pray for.
Become the healing you seek.
Become the welcome someone desperately needs.
And wherever today’s pilgrimage carries you,
leave a little more love behind than you found.
Amen. So may it be.
