Honoring Jesus and the Divine Feminine Holy Spirit
Preparation
Create a simple sacred space with:
- A white candle for Jesus.
- A red, blue, or silver candle for the Divine Feminine Holy Spirit.
- A bowl of clean water.
- A small stone or crystal.
- A sprig of greenery or fresh flowers.
Take a few slow breaths and become aware of the sacred presence already surrounding you.
Opening
In the name of the Holy Mystery, Source of all life, Eternal Love beyond every name, I enter this sacred moment with humility, hope, and joy.
May this place become holy ground. May my heart become an altar. May love alone be welcomed here.
Lighting the Candles
(Light the first candle.)
Jesus Christ, Divine Word made flesh, Teacher, Healer, Liberator, You are the Light of the World. Shine within me and guide my steps in compassion.
(Light the second candle.)
Holy Spirit, Sacred Breath, Holy Wisdom, Divine Feminine Presence, You who hovered over the waters of creation, You who comfort, inspire, and renew, Kindle within me the fire of wisdom, the courage of love, and the tenderness of mercy.
Invocation
Holy Jesus, Beloved Son and Living Christ,
Holy Spirit, Mothering Wisdom, Comforter and Giver of Life,
Walk beside me today.
May Christ strengthen my hands for service. May Holy Wisdom open my mind to truth. May Divine Love transform my heart.
Where there is fear, plant courage.
Where there is hatred, plant compassion.
Where there is despair, plant hope.
Where there is division, make me an instrument of reconciliation.
Blessing of the Water
Touch the bowl of water.
Bless this water, symbol of life, cleansing, renewal, and baptism into Divine Love.
May it remind me that every day I am invited to begin again.
Meditation
Sit quietly for several minutes.
Listen for the still, gentle voice of God.
Allow Jesus to teach your heart.
Allow the Holy Spirit to surround you like the warm embrace of a loving mother.
Receive whatever peace is offered.
Prayer of Dedication
Jesus, may I walk your path of justice, mercy, humility, and radical love.
Holy Spirit, may your wisdom guide my words, your compassion shape my actions, and your creativity awaken my soul.
May I become a blessing to my neighbors, a protector of creation, a companion to the lonely, and a witness to Divine Love.
Closing Blessing
May Christ go before me.
May Holy Wisdom dwell within me.
May Divine Love surround me.
May every road become a pilgrimage.
May every stranger become my neighbor.
May every act of kindness become an offering to the Holy One.
