Today’s Interfaith Prayer
Holy Mystery, Known by many names and beyond every name, Source of life, love, wisdom, and peace,
We pause today to become aware of Your presence. Open our eyes to the sacred that surrounds us, our hearts to those who suffer, and our hands to the work of compassion.
Bless people of every faith, and those who seek truth without a religious tradition. May we learn from one another with humility, listen before we judge, and build bridges where others build walls.
Give us the courage to stand with the poor, welcome the stranger, care for the earth, and work for justice with mercy.
Where there is fear, plant hope. Where there is hatred, sow love. Where there is division, create understanding. Where there is despair, kindle new life.
As we walk our different paths, may we discover that kindness is holy, compassion is powerful, and peace begins with each of us.
May we be pilgrims of hope, bringing light into dark places and becoming a blessing to everyone we meet today.
Amen. Or, in the words of many traditions: May it be so.
