  1. Introduction

Welcome to the Chaplains of St. Francis. Our ministry walks the streets of Richmond, serving those who are often unseen and unheard. Inspired by the life of St. Francis of Assisi, we carry compassion, presence, and hope into every interaction.

Our work is not only about giving food or supplies—it is about witnessing Christ’s love, sharing dignity, and building trust through consistent presence.

“Preach the Gospel at all times. When necessary, use words.” – St. Francis
