Hello, I’m Sister Abigail Hester, a Franciscan Clarean devoted to living a life of compassion, service, and prayer. My journey has led me to the streets and the hearts of those society often overlooks, offering care, presence, and hope wherever it’s needed.
I believe that faith isn’t just something we carry in our hearts—it’s something we act out in the world. Through the Order of Franciscan Clareans, I walk alongside those struggling, advocate for the vulnerable, and share the radical love of God in practical ways.
Life hasn’t always been simple—I live with visual impairment and other health challenges—but these experiences have deepened my empathy and strengthened my resolve to serve. Every day is an opportunity to bring a little light into the darkness.
When I’m not ministering or writing, I enjoy exploring faith, herbal wisdom, and the quiet moments where prayer meets the ordinary rhythms of life. My hope is that through this website, you’ll find encouragement, insight, and an invitation to join in compassionate action.
